Also, it should be recognized that there are a lot of good football players who want to play college ball but who are not offered scholarships. We try to contact every high school and every prospect in the entire state, even if they are going to be offered scholarships. Because, the fact is, some of those guys are overlooked on national letter days, and we re the school that s been talking to them. It s also the visit that makes the difference we re friendly, we offer an opportunity to come to a small school and get a lot of individual attention, and we have a beautiful campus and a multimillion-dollar athletic complex. At Methodist College we go out to meet the clientele, and a lot of them are people just like me. I m from the coal mines of West Virginia, and these guys are from the cotton mills and the tobacco farms, and most of them are first-generation students so we get some kids who are at risk academically. Once they get here, we try to work with them. We ve had many success stories of kids who were not that great in the classroom in high school, but who managed to stay in college. Here, our first priority is to get a degree, and then to play football at its highest level.

BFS: Has your emphasis on education benefitted your football team?

JS: That s how we got better as a football team we kept our kids in school. I remember back when we started we had only one senior on our squad; now we have classes of 12-14 and the numbers are growing every year. I think when it gets to the point where we have 20-25 seniors in the program, we can feel optimistic that we can be a strong force every year.

BFS: Are there any other advantages to going to a small colle........ 2.99 seconds

BFS HIGH SCHOOL STANDARDS
Standard Build Heavy Build
Good Beginning 3.75 3.9 seconds
Great For Varsity 3.45 3.65 seconds
All-State Level 3.1 3.3 seconds
All-American Level 2.8 3.0 seconds

Additional BFS Women s Standards Builds

BFS HIGH SCHOOL WOMEN
Standard Build Heavy Build
Up to 5 2 120 lbs. or less Over 120 lbs.
5 3 to 5 5 135 lbs. or less Over 135 lbs.
5 6 to 5 8 150 lbs. or less Over 150 lbs.
5 9 and up 160 lbs. or less Over 1s players? We thank Coach Aronhalt and his player for being such a great Upper Limit example.
jerked 310 pounds. Currently Walter is bench pressing 370 lbs. His clean is 325 lbs. He probably was the strongest High School Q.B. in the country. "Our football team has great respect for Walter's achievements. Coach Maronto states, "Walter did everything we asked him to do and he was a huge reason that we were the top offense team in Volusia County". He played FB, TE, WR., Safety, LB and Rush End as a junior. He is extremely versatile, but he always worked to be the QB. He trusted the system and now will play QB at the next level at Eastern Kentucky University. He was the BUCS lifter of the year in '99 and 2000.

DAN STEIN AND CHRIS RHODES

No one has out trained Dan and Chris, as they are aggressive and relentless lifters in the weight room. At the start of the 2000 season, Dan was the starting center and Chris a starting tackle. Dan follows a very solid nutritional plan in eating and has gained 16 pounds 235-251 of muscle lifting and taking BFS's Whey Protein. Chris transferred to Mainland last year and John Wilson brought him to the weight room and became his mentor. Chris is about John's size at 6'8, 330 lbs., and he has lost weight (30 lbs.) by eating like a "tiger". Dan & Chris had early season inju
