After a pounding in the playoffs, our kids began to realize the importance<br>of weightlifting. They didn't like being manhandled. During the off season we began to do plyometrics which helped our speed and quickness tremendously. Midfield had destroyed us 42-6 in the second round two years ago; last year we met them again in the third round and whipped them 40-20; it was a great victory.<br><br>We now have 12 athletes in the 1000-pound club with 18 benchint, and it would enable us to be successful very quickly because it has all those practical resources such as workout cards and teaching videos. <br>Lloyd, who this year coached his grapplers to a second place finish in the state tournament for teams (Division II), began the conversion to BFS by implementing the program in his regular weight training clas. This class was attended by regular and secial education students, and a few athletes. It quickly became one of the s
